Hardness, not just TDS
Calcium and magnesium hardness can leave scale on taps, showerheads and water-heating appliances. A TDS reading alone cannot tell you how hard your water is.
Borewell water · Hyderabad
Borewell water varies from home to home. Start with your water quality—not a one-size-fits-all system—to help reduce hard-water scaling.

Understand your source
White deposits, poor soap lather and stiff laundry can be signs of hardness. Testing confirms the treatment your borewell water needs.
Calcium and magnesium hardness can leave scale on taps, showerheads and water-heating appliances. A TDS reading alone cannot tell you how hard your water is.
Sediment, iron, odour or other water-quality concerns may need separate treatment. Water testing helps identify what a softener can—and cannot—address.
Water pressure, peak flow, daily consumption, storage tanks and available installation space all influence the right system design.
Softening is not a complete water-safety solution. A softener reduces hardness, not all contaminants. Filtration and softening do not automatically make water potable.

Recommendation follows assessment of your needs.
A softener can reduce calcium and magnesium hardness in borewell water when correctly sized and operated. Suitability depends on a water assessment; sediment, iron or other concerns may require pre-treatment or a separate treatment stage.
Water softeners reduce hardness through ion exchange. They do not generally reduce TDS. If salinity or another dissolved contaminant is a concern, an assessment is needed to determine appropriate treatment.
Softening is not disinfection and does not by itself make borewell water safe to drink. Drinking-water suitability requires appropriate testing and treatment for the contaminants present.
No. You can request an assessment without a report. Tell us what you know about your water source and concerns; our specialist will advise on testing where needed. If you have a recent report, mention it in your enquiry.
Choose after reviewing water quality, pressure, consumption and your needs—not by package name alone. AquaSutra offers Essential, Smart, Complete and Signature; the specialist can explain the recommended configuration and quotation after assessment.
